An Intimate Autumn Wedding in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs

April weddings in Sydney carry a quieter rhythm, and offer softer light and a calmer pace. Viviane and Ben’s Eastern Suburbs wedding was intimate, unhurried, and centred on family.

Their ceremony was held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Edgecliff, surrounded by fifty guests. As Viviane walked down the aisle with her elderly mother, a portrait of her late father was carried quietly on the stems of her bouquet - a subtle, deeply personal presence woven into the moment.

After the ceremony, we made our way to Centennial Park for bridal portraits. The autumn tones and pine forest provided a relaxed setting for natural photographs.

The celebration continued at Dunbar House in Watsons Bay, where the harbour formed an elegant backdrop for a warm, intimate reception shared among close family and friends.
